📘 What Is NetworkNite Smart-Card?

NetworkNite Smart-Card is a digital follow-up tool that lets you:

  • note who you’d like to reconnect with

  • see who would like to reconnect with you

  • receive only mutual matches

It’s not a public profile, not a social network, and not another app demanding your attention.
It’s a simple, private extension of the event — focused on helping you turn conversations into real opportunities.

🏁 When You Receive Your Smart-Card

At (or just before) the event, you’ll receive:

  • a unique Smart-Card link via email or text

  • a quick explanation from the host on how it works

You can open it on any smartphone browser — no download, login, or setup required.

🔄 How to Use Smart-Card During the Event

As you move through one-on-one conversations, you can:

  • mark the people you’d like to reconnect with

  • skip marking anyone you don’t wish to follow up with

  • adjust your selections anytime before midnight

Think of it as your personal, private shortlist of professional connections you’d like to continue.

⏰ Important: Make Your Selections Before Midnight

Smart-Card is open for new or updated selections until midnight (local time) on the night of your event.

Before midnight, you can:

  • add new people to your “yes” list

  • change your mind

  • remove or update any previous selection

After midnight, the system processes all responses and generates mutual matches.

🌙 After Midnight: View Your Mutual Connections

Once the system runs (after midnight), you can:

  • return to your Smart-Card link

  • view your mutual professional connections — people you selected who also selected you

You’ll see:

  • who you matched with

  • the information needed to follow up (for example, name and preferred contact method, depending on event setup)

No guessing, no wondering, no “was that connection mutual?”
Smart-Card gives you clean, mutual green lights.

🧭 Why We Use a Mutual-Only System

Professional networking is most effective when follow-up feels:

  • welcome

  • intentional

  • clearly mutual

That’s why Smart-Card only displays connections where both people indicated interest in continuing the conversation.

This:

  • protects your time

  • respects other professionals

  • keeps outreach aligned with clear interest

🔒 Privacy & Respect

Smart-Card is built with professional courtesy in mind:

  • your selections are confidential

  • only mutual matches are revealed

  • information is not sold or shared with third parties

  • there is no public “profile browsing” or unsolicited messaging system

You are always in control of your follow-up.

💼 Best Practices for Smart-Card Follow-Up

Once you see your mutual connections, a simple, thoughtful message goes a long way. For example:

“Great meeting you at NetworkNite — I enjoyed our conversation about [topic]. Would you be open to a quick follow-up call or coffee?”

Keep it:

  • professional

  • specific

  • respectful of time

⭐ Our Goal with Smart-Card

Smart-Card exists to:

  • remove the awkwardness of wondering who to follow up with

  • help you feel confident reaching out

  • support mutual, consent-based professional connections

  • make your evening’s conversations easier to act on

Networking isn’t just about who you meet in the room.
It’s about who you’re able to reconnect with after — and what you build from there.
